I created this Virtual Sand Tray to solve a specific problem in my telehealth practice. While searching for free, two-player virtual sand trays for play therapy, I found none that met my needs. This was especially challenging because my HIPAA-compliant video platform doesn't allow clients to share their screens.

This tool was the solution. It requires just a room code and a link, instantly connecting you and your client in a shared digital space. I can now not only observe my clients manipulating the sand tray in real-time but also actively participate. I can provide examples, help find symbols, offer guidance, and collaboratively add to the scene, creating a truly interactive therapeutic experience.

This simple tool lets you and your client browse 500+ symbols, drag and drop them onto different backgrounds (like sand, water, or forest), and see each other's changes in real time. It’s designed to feel playful and easy for clinicians and clients to use. I built this for my own practice, and I'm always open to making it better.
